Gemma Gibbons through to second round

Team GB's Gemma Gibbons has progressed to the second round of the women's -78kg judo competition.

Gibbons excelled to defeat 2011 European bronze medalist Yahima Ramirez.

The 25-year-old sealed victory with an ippon just before the midway point of their bout.
