Nyam-Ochir wins judo bronze

Nyam-Ochir Sainjargal claimed the first men's 73kg judo bronze medal at the expense of Holland's Dex Elmont this afternoon.

Both men had previously took part in close semi-final encounters and there was very little to separate the pair during this encounter.

However, it was Mongolia's Sainjargal that eventually came out on top 1-0 by virtue of penalty decisions.

It is the first time that the 26-year-old has claimed a medal at an Olympic Games.
