Great Britain seal comeback win over Croatia in World Championships opener

Great Britain seal a comeback 3-2 win in overtime over Croatia to begin their World Championships campaign in Eindhoven with victory.

Great Britain came from behind to secure a 3-2 victory over Croatia in their opening game of the World Championships in Division 1 Group B on Monday.

GB were 2-0 down with just seven minutes left on the clock in Eindhoven until Ben O'Connor pulled one back.

Mark Richardson, who plays for the Cardiff Devils, also contributed with a goal to draw level on 2-2, and 11 seconds into overtime, he doubled his tally with a winning goal.

GB will face Estonia, South Korea, Netherlands and Lithuania between now and April 19.
