Chicago Blackhawks have overcome Tampa Bay Lightning to claim their sixth Stanley Cup.

Joel Quenneville's side sealed the series 4-2 following a 2-0 triumph, with goals from Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith, on home soil.

The Blackhawks, who claimed Stanley Cup victory at home for the first time since 1938, last won the title in 2013.

Keith was named the most valuable player of the playoffs.
