Former NHL player Andre Deveaux could be arrested after attacking an opponent before a Swedish playoff game.
Deveaux, who plays for Rogle in the Allsvenskan, Sweden's top division, charged Vasteras player Per Helmersson and hit him repeatedly with his stick before the post-season game, according to TT News Agency.
The Canadian was sacked by his club after the incident.
Deveaux played for Toronto Maple Leafs between 2008 and 2010 before spending the 2011-12 season at New York Rangers.
