Australia cruise past South Africa

Australia have maintained their unbeaten start to the pool stage of the men's hockey tournament with a comfortable 6-0 win over South Africa this morning.

Forward Trent Mitton scored two field goals, while Kieran Govers and Simon Orchard also scored from open play.

Govers added his second goal from a penalty corner, while Chris Ciriello was on target with a penalty stroke.

The result moves them to the top of Pool A, level on point with India.
