Felipe Massa shrugs off poor performance in Hungarian Grand Prix

Massa "confident" Hungary form was one-off

Williams driver Felipe Massa has insisted that their pace in the Hungarian Grand Prix will not become the norm after the summer break.

The car struggled around the Hungaroring as Massa limped home in 12th and his teammate Valtteri Bottas came 13th, but the Brazilian believes that they will be much higher up the grid at the Belgian Grand Prix next month.

He is quoted as saying by Autosport: "I'm 100% confident [it was a one-off]. What happened I don't think we will see every race. We were very strong at the last race, fighting for the podium, even for the first place.

"But we need to understand as we have another slow circuit, which is Singapore, coming up. So we have to do everything we can to be as competitive as we can. But we will have many good tracks. It's definitely not a problem and I'm sure we will be back on our tracks that are good for us."

The next race in Belgium will take place on August 23.
