Eddie Jordan awarded OBE

Eddie Jordan has been made an honorary OBE by the Queen for services to charity and motor racing.

The Irishman is best known for his Eddie Jordan Grand Prix team which took its place in Formula One in 1991.

Michael Schumacher and Damon Hill were amongst the team's drivers until the 64-year-old sold it off in 2004.

Jordan is now a motor racing television pundit.
