Grosjean handed grid penalty

Romain Grosjean has been demoted to 10th on the grid for tomorrow's Malaysian Grand Prix after being handed a two-place penalty for a pitlane infraction.

The Lotus driver jumped the queue during the second part of the rain-affected qualifying session in Sepang this morning, before eventually qualifying in eighth.

Reacting to his demotion on Twitter, the Frenchman said: "Good qualifying for us again. Happy with the way we are going and the way the car [progressed]. Let's sweat for a good race tomorrow.

"Gutted about the two grid places penalty. Long race tomorrow we will get those back."

Grosjean was unable to finish the season-opening Australian Grand Prix after qualifying in ninth.
