Lotus's Kimi Raikkonen pleased with progress

Kimi Raikkonen admits that he is pleased with his progress after finishing in second place at the German Grand Prix.

Kimi Raikkonen has said that he is pleased with his progress following his second-placed finish at the German Grand Prix.

The Lotus driver came fourth in qualifying before jumping two places to end behind winner Sebastian Vettel.

"We did well but we didn't have the speed," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"Maybe the race could have been a little longer. The result wasn't ideal for us but we are getting back to where we should be."

The season continues with the Hungarian Grand Prix on the final weekend of July.
