Paul Sturrock hoping to bolster attacking ranks

Yeovil Town manager Paul Sturrock has claimed that he is on the lookout for an attack-minded player to strengthen his side.

The Glovers have a spot to fill in their squad following the conclusion of Jake Howells's one-month loan spell.

Sturrock is hopeful of adding to the four loanees already among Yeovil's ranks, but does not believe that a new face will be brought in ahead of the midweek meeting with Mansfield Town.

"I'd like to add one offensive player to the squad, but that will not happen before Tuesday," the 59-year-old is quoted as saying by the Western Gazette.

Yeovil remain in relegation trouble following their 2-0 defeat at Notts County on the weekend, which leaves them one point and one place above the League Two drop zone.
