Preview: Yeovil Town vs. Watford

Sports Mole previews the first match of 2014 for Yeovil Town and Watford at Huish Park.

Yeovil Town can end a run of three straight defeats when Watford visit Huish Park on New Year's Day.

Gary Johnson's side have slipped four points adrift of safety in 23rd place and now face a Watford side yet to suffer defeat under new manager Giuseppe Sannino.

Johnson could be without key players Marek Stech and Ed Upson after both limped off in the first half of Sunday's heavy defeat at Huddersfield Town, but could welcome back Byron Webster.

Meanwhile, Sannino saw his side achieve a respectable point at home to Queens Park Rangers at the weekend and the Italian boss could go with the same XI on Wednesday.

Yeovil have happy memories of playing against Watford as the reverse fixture, just a month ago, finished 3-0 in the Glovers' favour.
