Saturday's Serie A predictions including AC Milan vs. Juventus

Hellas Verona vs. Inter Milan (Saturday, 2.00pm)

One of six sides within two points of the Serie A summit, reigning champions Inter Milan continue their title defence on Saturday, when they visit Hellas Verona.

While Inter were just a spot kick away from topping the table before the international break, Verona have lost four of their last five games and are leaking goals at an alarming rate.

We say: Hellas Verona 0-2 Inter Milan

Considering their dire record against Inter and a distinct lack of form before international football intervened, Verona will face this fixture with some trepidation.

Eager to keep the pressure on Napoli and their fellow title contenders, the Nerazzurri will surely not slip up at one of their happiest hunting grounds.

AC Milan vs. Juventus (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Two Serie A giants will convene on Saturday evening, as AC Milan welcome Juventus to San Siro.

Milan slipped six points behind Juve after a six-goal thriller with Cagliari just before the break, while the Bianconeri's latest Turin derby win kept them in a six-way scrap for top spot.

We say: AC Milan 1-1 Juventus

Milan may come up short in their quest to halt Juve's unbeaten run, as their vulnerable back four cannot be relied upon to stay watertight for 90 minutes.

Although the Bianconeri are short of some key players, they have proven to be resilient since Thiago Motta took charge, while Paulo Fonseca's potential-packed side are prone to costly errors.

Parma vs. Atalanta (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Seeking a seventh Serie A win on the spin, Atalanta BC will aim to pick up where they left off before the break when travelling to Parma on Saturday.

The Bergamaschi head for Stadio Tardini having surged into the Scudetto race, with just one point separating them from top spot.

We say: Parma 1-2 Atalanta BC

As Parma (58) and Atalanta (51) have taken the most shots during the first half hour of play this season, scoring 17 goals between them, expect an entertaining start to proceedings at the Tardini.

Given their abundance of attacking talent, both sides should score at least once, but La Dea will reign supreme again.
