Michael Ballack looks for challenge abroad

Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Michael Ballack has revealed that he is likely move abroad at the end of the season.

The 35-year-old former Germany international will be out of contract with the Bundesliga club in the summer.

"Nothing has been decided yet," he told Sky Sport Germany. "However, I want a new challenge which is likely to be abroad."

Ballack's agent claimed at the start of the year that the player could move to "China, Arabia or the United States".
