Joss Labadie unlikely to remain at Torquay United following bite ban

Labadie unlikely to stay at Gulls after bite

Torquay United midfielder Joss Labadie is unlikely to remain at the club following his controversial biting incident, according to Gulls manager Chris Hargreaves.

The 23-year-old was handed a 10-match ban having been found guilty of an alleged bite on Chesterfield player Ollie Banks, compounding a difficult season for Torquay in which they were also relegated from League Two.

"It's unlikely that he will remain with the club," Hargreaves told BBC Sport.

"It's a really unfortunate situation and incident that happened, we lost a good player who would have no doubt helped in our fight."

Torquay finished the 2013-14 campaign at the bottom of the League Two table on 45 points.
