Steven MacLean out for six weeks

St Johnstone striker Steven MacLean has been ruled out of action for the next six weeks with an elbow injury.

The 30-year-old picked up the dislocation during Saturday's clash with St Mirren, but had been expected to return within a month.

However, according to the club's official website, his elbow has now been placed in plaster as he begins the healing process.

MacLean is out of contract in January.
