Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be in talks with Manchester City over a permanent move for striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The former Arsenal frontman has been instrumental in Spurs' push for the Premier League title since joining White Hart Lane in the summer on a loan deal.
It is understood that Tottenham officials are trying to sort out a permanent contract for the 27-year-old in order to extend his stay with the North London side, according to the Daily Mail.
The Togolese player is thought to be keen on staying in Harry Redknapp's team but wages could prove to be a stumbling block.
