Tottenham Hotspur open Harry Kane contract talks?

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly opened discussions with Harry Kane over an improved deal to keep the forward at the club.

Kane has been a revelation for the Lilywhites this season, featuring ahead of the likes of Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor.

Although the 21-year-old signed a contract extension at the start of the season, ESPN FC claims that Spurs are keen to reward his progress with an improved deal.

The England prospect has made such an impact on the club's hierarchy that they are keen to bring his salary on a par with Tottenham's big earners.

Kane is said to have proven himself as an integral part of Spurs' long-term aspirations having netted 17 times so far this season.
