Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been told that they will need to come up with a bid of £15m in order to open contract talks with Beijing Guoan centre-back Kim Min-jae.
The 23-year-old, who plays alongside Spurs attacker Son Heung-min for South Korea, has allegedly been identified by Jose Mourinho's side as a potential summer target.
According to the Evening Standard, the Premier League club are keen on a deal for the central defender and have been quoted £15m by his Chinese club.
Kim, who stands at 6ft 3in, is only contracted to Guoan until December 2021, meaning that Spurs would be in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations.
Mourinho is expected to demand at least one new centre-back this summer as Jan Vertonghen is set to leave on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.
The capital giants - currently seventh in the Premier League table - will bring their 2019-20 season to an end away to Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
