Tottenham Hotspur 'to offer Harry Kane bumper new deal'

Harry Kane 'to receive bump in wages'

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to double Harry Kane's current £35,000-a-week wages in order to secure the striker's future at White Hart Lane.

The England international, who has scored 14 goals so far this season, only signed a new deal until 2020 less than a year ago.

However, Spurs are believed to be keen to warn off interest from big spenders, such as Manchester United and Real Madrid, by offering Kane a new deal.

According to the Daily Mail, the North London club are prepared to make the 22-year-old one of their highest earners with a contract that will include incremental wage increases should he keep up his goalscoring form.

Tottenham have already tied down one of their young players; Dele Alli, who only joined Spurs in the summer from MK Dons, has signed a new long-term deal.
