Kieran Trippier: 'Mauricio Pochettino demands a lot from us'

Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier has praised the demanding nature of Mauricio Pochettino's management of the club.

Pochettino's Spurs side produced the best defensive record in the Premier League last season, and full-back Trippier has attributed the club's success to the Argentine's management skills following their title push last year.

"He demands a lot from us as individuals and also collectively as a team", the 25-year-old told the club's official television channel.

"It's very important that you need to listen to what he says and take it onto the field. When it comes to man-management, one to one, he's the best. And as a group, he's the best also.

"He has got everything and that's why he is a world-class manager."

Pochettino signed Trippier from Burnley during the summer of 2015, before handing the young defender 19 appearances.
