Southampton want Jordan Rhodes?

A report claims that Southampton want to sign Blackburn Rovers forward Jordan Rhodes in January.

Southampton are reportedly preparing a January move for Blackburn Rovers forward Jordan Rhodes.

The 24-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, but Blackburn have managed to retain his services over the last couple of seasons.

Southampton are the latest club to express an interest and could make a move at the start of next month, according to The Sun

Rhodes scored 25 times in 46 league games last season, while he has netted five times in 14 matches this term.

Hull City are also long-standing admirers of the Scotland international and failed in a summer pursuit.
