Team News: Dani Osvaldo misses out for Southampton

Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo fails a late fitness test for the trip to Stoke City.

Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo will not feature in this afternoon's visit to Stoke City after failing a late fitness test.

Midfielder Steven Davies was also assessed ahead of kickoff due to concerns over his fitness, but the Northern Irishman has made the bench.

Stoke are without the services of defender Andy Wilkinson, who misses out with a knee injury, while striker Kenwyne Jones has been forced to settle for a place on the bench.

The Saints are also without the injured midfielder Guly do Prado.

Stoke: Begovic; Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Pieters; Walters, Nzonzi, Ireland, Whelan, Arnautovic; Crouch
