Lewis Holtby quiet on speculation

Schalke midfielder Lewis Holtby has refused to discuss reports linking him with a switch to the Premier League this summer.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for the 21-year-old before the transfer window closes.

Despite the speculation, Holtby has insisted that he is happy with his German employers.

"I am under contract with the club and I am a Schalke player," he said. "I just want to focus on playing football.

"I like it at Schalke. I will give my best in training and the manager will decide if I am a first team player."

Holtby has 12 months remaining on his current Schalke contract.
