Klaas-Jan Huntelaar says that he wants to extend his current contract at Schalke and remain with the Royal Blues until his retirement.

Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has revealed that he could remain with the German club for the rest of his career.

The 29-year-old joined the Royal Blues from Italian giants AC Milan in the summer of 2010.

"It is very well possible that I will sign another extension with Schalke," he told Bild.

"I could sign another contract here at the age of 32. I could retire here."

Huntelaar's current contract with Schalke runs until June 2015.
