Rochdale boss Keith Hill signs new contract

Rochdale manager Keith Hill has signed a new contract with the League One club until 2018.

The 45-year-old returned to the Dale for a second spell at the start of the year before guiding the team to promotion.

Hill's assistant Chris Beech has also penned fresh terms at Spotland.

"What we've achieved makes me proud and it makes my family proud as well," Hill is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "The DNA of this football club is part of my family.

"The football club is run by people who have the same values and family values that I have. It makes me immensely proud of what we've achieved and what the players have achieved."

Rochdale are currently in sixth place in the League One table.
