Nottingham Forest wait on Simon Cox injury

Nottingham Forest striker Simon Cox has revealed that he will only know the extent of a foot injury that he picked up on international duty after a scan.

The 25-year-old was stretchered off during the Republic of Ireland's 4-1 win against Oman at Craven Cottage on Tuesday evening.

"I should know the results tomorrow but I know it's not broken which is a good sign," he tweeted.

Cox signed a three-year contract at the City Ground over the summer after moving from West Bromwich Albion.
