How to watch Forest vs. Sunderland: Date, time, live stream and TV channel

Nottingham Forest will be looking to record just their second Premier League victory of the 2025-26 campaign when they tackle Sunderland in Saturday's late start.

The hosts are 15th in the Premier League table, boasting only five points from their first five matches, while the visitors are up in seventh, with an excellent start seeing the Black Cats collect eight points.

Here, Sports Mole provides details of how to tune into the contest.

What time does Nottingham Forest vs. Sunderland kick off?

The Premier League contest will kick off at 5.30pm UK time on Saturday.

Where is Nottingham Forest vs. Sunderland being played?

The match will take place at Forest's home stadium, the City Ground.

The last meeting between the two sides at the City Ground came in December 2017, with Sunderland recording a 1-0 victory in the Championship encounter.

However, the two teams have not locked horns at the City Ground in the Premier League since August 1996, and Sunderland were again victorious on that occasion, running out 4-1 winners.

What is at stake for Nottingham Forest and Sunderland?

Forest have made an underwhelming start to the season, picking up just five points from five matches, recording only one win in the process, and new head coach Ange Postecoglou has had a slow start to life at the helm.

Postecoglou has a record of one draw and two defeats from his three matches since arriving, and the home side will be coming up against a Sunderland team that have impressed this season.

Indeed, the Black Cats are up in seventh spot on eight points, and they are unbeaten in their last three in the Premier League, beating Brentford before drawing with Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
