Unsworth, Alexander handed PNE roles

David Unsworth and Graham Alexander have been handed the joint-manager's job at Preston North End until the end of the season, according to Sky Sports News.

The duo have been in charge of the League One club since Phil Brown was sacked in December.

Since then, Preston have gone on to lose just once in their four matches with Unsworth and Alexander at the helm.

That has been enough to impress chairman Peter Risdale, who has extended their stay at Deepdale.
