Ribery wants to retire at Bayern

Franck Ribery has revealed that he wants to end his playing career with Bayern Munich.

The 28-year-old winger has become a key player at the Allianz Arena since he arrived from Marseille in 2007.

Despite being linked to other European clubs, Ribery currently sees no reason for him to leave the Bavarian side.

"I am entering my fifth year at Bayern," Ribery told L'Equipe. "At this club, in this city, I feel at home.

"I am very happy and I feel free here. My family also feels very comfortable. I want to end my career at this club.

"I have purchased a house which is close to the training centre. Everything is in place for me to feel as well as possible."

Bayern paid a reported £20m fee to sign the French international.
