ESPN sign up legends for new football service

Kevin Keegan, Glenn Hoddle and Steve Nicol agree to contribute to a new football service from ESPN.

Sports Mole can reveal that broadcaster ESPN have signed up three famous names from the footballing world, including two former England managers, to contribute to a new football service.

Kevin Keegan, Glenn Hoddle and Steve Nicol will be providing their expertise to the venture, which will go under the guise of ESPNFC.

The new multi-platform, multi-language and multinational football brand will, in time, be available online, on TV and on mobile phones.

Ex-Liverpool frontman Keegan, who is already a pundit on ESPN UK, will contribute a column online and on mobile for the project, as will former Tottenham Hotspur attacker Hoddle.

Nicol, who also played for Liverpool, already features on ESPN's PressPass football show. He will take on a similar role to colleagues Keegan and Hoddle.
