Report: City won't offer Toure new contract

Manchester City are reportedly not going to offer Yaya Toure a new contract.

The 31-year-old was said to be unhappy at the end of last season after the Citizens failed to acknowledge his birthday.

In the past week, City have announced that Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Vincent Kompany have all signed new contracts, while Edin Dzeko and Joe Hart are both expected to pen new deals in the near future.

Toure has two years left on his remaining contract, but the club have no plans to offer him a deal, according to The Guardian.

The Ivorian was a key player for City last season, with his 20 goals in the Premier League helping the club to win the title.
