Manchester City pursue Stevan Jovetic interest

Manchester City scout Angelo Gregucci has revealed that Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic is 'on their list'.

The Premier League champions were heavily linked with the 22-year-old Montenegro international during the summer, but despite Jovetic revealing last week that he would sign a new contract at the Serie A club, Gregucci has confirmed that City are interested in bringing him to Manchester.

Gregucci told violanews.com: "Jovetic is on our list, we cannot deny it.

"He is a great player, but after that I don't know if he will wear the Manchester City jersey or not, as I am not the one to ask.

"I can only reply that City's interest is concrete and we cannot hide ourselves in that respect."

Jovetic has scored 32 goals in 109 appearances for Fiorentina.
