Maicon, Richard Wright join Manchester City

Manchester City have confirmed the signings of Inter Milan right-back Maicon and goalkeeper Richard Wright.

Maicon, 31, moves to the Etihad for an undisclosed fee, while Wright, 34, comes in as back-up for Joe Hart and Costel Pantilimon.

The deal reunites Maicon with City manager Roberto Mancini, whom he worked under for two seasons at Inter between 2006 and 2008.

City are also expected to complete a move for Benfica midfielder Javi Garcia before the 11pm deadline later this evening.
