Manchester City 'considering Douglas Luiz offers'

Manchester City are reportedly considering a number of loan offers for Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz.

Luiz joined City from Vasco de Gama last summer and spent last season on loan with Girona, making 17 appearances for the La Liga outfit in all competitions.

The Premier League champions had hoped to use the 20-year-old this season, but he was recently denied a work permit by the Home Office and will therefore need to move on loan once again.

According to Sky Sports News, City are currently considering a number of loan offers for Luiz, with Benfica and Girona among the options for the 2018-19 campaign.

Luiz appeared in 15 of Girona's 38 La Liga matches during the 2017-18 season.
