The agent of Lazio defender Stefan Radu has insisted that Manchester City have not made an offer for his client.
It had been reported that the 26-year-old was the subject of interest from the Premier League club, but Victor Becali has claimed that there has been no contact.
"Neither Lazio nor I know anything of Manchester City's interest in Radu," Becali told reporters in Italy.
"I have a great relationship with Txiki Begiristain. If City were interested in the player, they surely would have called me."
Radu, who is primarily a left-back, can also play in central defence.
