Carlos Tevez fined for speeding offence

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has been fined and had his driving licence endorsed with three points for a speeding offence.

The Argentinian, who pleaded guilty to the charge, was clocked doing 38mph in a 30mph zone in Stretford last November.

Tevez had also been accused of failing to reveal the identity of the driver at the time of the offence, but that charge was dropped.

The case had been adjourned for seven days.
