Report: West Ham United target Micah Richards

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City defender Micah Richards this summer.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini recently made it clear that the right-back would depart the Etihad Stadium this summer after he rejected a new contract.

A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the one-time England international, and West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is preparing a £4m offer, according to The Sun.

It is understood that a loan move with a future fee clause could be agreed next week.
