Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has returned to pre-season training feeling refreshed after disappointment with England at Euro 2012.
The 29-year-old impressed at the centre of England's defence during the tournament, and after a break, he is looking forward to the start of the new season.
Lescott told the club's official website: "I had a little break. I got away with the family after the Euro's and had a bit of down time.
"It's nice to be back at Carrington and I'm eager to get back in.
"The season comes round pretty quick, so over the next couple of weeks, we will have to get everything in."
Lescott was part of the Manchester City team that played Oldham Athletic on Tuesday night.
