Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov has insisted that his side are still the best team in England.
The defending champions are unbeaten in 11 Premier League games this season, however they have already been eliminated from the Champions League after taking just two points from four European matches.
"I understand why we get so much criticism," said Kolarov. "Everybody wants to beat us as we are the champions and haven't lost any games this season.
"We have lost games in the Champions League, but we are still the best team in the Premier League, I think.
"If we play the way we know how, we will be the champions again."
City are currently second in the Premier League table - two points behind Manchester United.
