Joe Hart: 'I haven't enjoyed Champions League'

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart says that he hasn't enjoyed the Champions League following his side's exit from the competition.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has admitted that he hasn't enjoyed the Champions League following his side's exit from the competition.

Despite recording a 2-0 win over Bayern Munich, the Blues were knocked out at the group stage due to Napoli's 2-0 win at Villarreal.

When asked if he had enjoyed the club's first season in the tournament, Hart told Sky Sports News: "No, we have not really because we have not done what we wanted to do.

"We are a good side and we should be doing better in his competition.

"But naivete and a few bad performances and you are out, and that is the brutality of the Champions League."

The Premier League leaders will now take part in the Europa League following their exit.
