Edin Dzeko urges Luka Modric to join Man City

Edin Dzeko has admitted that he would love to see Luka Modric join him at Manchester City this summer.

Modric has been repeatedly linked with a move away from current club Tottenham Hotspur and Dzeko believes that Roberto Mancini's side have a lot to offer the Croatian.

Dzeko said: "Yes, everyone is after him but I would love it if he came to City. He would be a great addition.

"Besides that, he would have everything at City — Champions League, fighting for the title, great wages.

"I am cheering for him to choose City."

Dzeko has also been linked with a summer move and Bayern Munich are believed to be interested in signing the striker.
