Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Friday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Manchester City will have the chance to close the gap on the teams above them in the Premier League table when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Friday.

With the top two facing off on Boxing Day, Pep Guardiola's side could make further ground on at least one of Liverpool and Leicester City, having beaten the latter 3-1 on Saturday.

However, the champions will be wary of the threat posed by a Wolves side that has already beaten them at the Etihad Stadium this season.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

John Stones suffered a thigh injury in the Manchester derby earlier this month and remains out for the trip to Molineux, although he is understood to be close to a return having initially only been ruled out for a "few weeks".

Man City have no players suspended for this match, but Rodri, Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva are all one booking away from a ban.
