Manchester City defender Gael Clichy has insisted that the club can secure a Premier League and Europa League double this season.
City face Sporting Lisbon in the first leg of their last-16 clash on Thursday, and Clichy is confident that they can push for honours on both fronts.
"It's really important. At the start of the season we were in four competitions and now it's only two and we have to go for it," the 26-year-old told Sky Sports News.
"With the players we have, we can do it – it won't be easy but we have a fair chance if we go step by step."
Clichy joined City from Arsenal in 2011.
