Tottenham Hotspur consider move for Sporting Lisbon's Diego Capel?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a swoop for Sporting Lisbon winger Diego Capel.

The 25-year-old was previously linked with a move to Liverpool, whose manager Brendan Rodgers recently claimed that he wants to strengthen in the summer.

Despite the Reds' alleged interest, it is understood that Spurs are ready to launch a bid for Capel from financially struggling Sporting, according to The Express.

The winger, who has netted two goals so far this season, signed for Sporting in 2011.
