Liverpool right-back Neco Williams could reportedly leave Anfield on deadline day, amid contact made by Bournemouth over taking the 20-year-old on loan.

Liverpool full-back Neco Williams could leave Anfield on deadline day, amid links with a loan move to Bournemouth, according to a report.

The 20-year-old has only made one Premier League appearance for Jurgen Klopp's side this season, and the Welsh international is said to be keen to gain regular first-team football, ahead of his nation's upcoming World Cup qualifiers in March.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is first choice in the right-back role at Anfield, but James Milner has been preferred to Williams in the absence of the England international.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Championship outfit Bournemouth have contacted the Reds about the possibility of taking Williams on loan for the remainder of this campaign.

Scott Parker's side currently sit third in the second-tier and have shown they are strong contenders for promotion this season, suggesting that the Cherries will offer Williams invaluable experience in senior football.

Williams made his Liverpool debut in 2019 and has gone on to provide five assists in 33 appearances for the club.
