Sevilla winger Jesus Navas opens the door on a move to Manchester City, admitting that he likes the Premier League outfit and is desperate to win silverware.

Sevilla winger Jesus Navas has revealed that Manchester City have been in contact and that he is open to a Premier League switch this summer.

Navas looks certain to help Sevilla ease their financial plight by finding a new club in the coming weeks, with coach Unai Emery admitting that he expects the Spanish international to move on.

With City among the clubs monitoring his progress, the Spanish international has insisted that he would like the chance to win trophies at the Etihad Stadium.

He told Marca: "I like Manchester City a lot and it has great players.

"Manchester City has done all it can to bring me in and I have to be grateful for that. I want to go on and win trophies.

"I'm now open to anything. I want to win more and reach my goals."

The 27-year-old has also been linked with a move to Liverpool in recent weeks, with Sevilla willing to negotiate over the winger's current £30m release clause.
