Liverpool have reportedly been tracking Valencia striker Paco Alcacer with a view to making a bid for the 21-year-old during the current transfer window.
The forward is heading into the final 18 months of his current contract with the La Liga side, and talks of an extension have apparently stalled.
According to The Telegraph, Liverpool are considering a move for the Spanish international, who has a release clause of over £14m.
Alcacer has scored 10 goals in all competition this season.
