Andy Carroll to undergo tough West Ham United medical?

Andy Carroll will reportedly undergo a tough medical ahead of his move from Liverpool to West Ham United.

The striker is believed to be nearing a £16m switch to Upton Park after spending last season on loan with the Hammers.

However, West Ham are keen to put the 24-year-old through rigorous medical tests amid fears over his long-term fitness, according to The Sun.

Carroll has previously struggled with thigh, hamstring and knee injuries.
