Suarez: Liverpool "angry" with slump

Luis Suarez has said that Liverpool players are "angry" with their recent slump in Premier League form.

Despite winning the Carling Cup and booking an FA Cup semi-final place, the Reds have suffered five defeats in their last six games.

"What's gone wrong? We have incredibly missed out in the last minutes of matches, we've been affected by injuries and cards," Suarez explained.

"The squad is angry and we really want to win at Newcastle on Sunday.

"Our mission is to finish in the highest position possible and to fight for the FA Cup."

Liverpool are currently seventh in the Premier League, 13 points off fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
